Emergency Contraception is a Readiness Issue

Wed Jul 18, 2007 at 07:32:07 PM PDT

Access to birth control is an issue that affects readiness through out the Department of Defense. With an increase in reporting of sexual assaults against our servicewomen, this is a very important issue. Emergency contraception must be available to every servicewoman.

There's more below the fold:

Virginia tries to curb reproductive rights again!

Mon Jan 09, 2006 at 07:05:37 PM PDT

Remember that proposed legislation in Virginia to require all miscarriages to be reported to the police? Because of the power of the blogosphere and the outrage it generated, the bill was withdrawn. Some wingnuts just don't learn from the mistakes of others or from previous mistakes.

FREEP this Poll

Wed Dec 21, 2005 at 10:39:22 AM PDT

Newsmax is running a poll on Bush's domestic spying program Freep it and let our voice be heard.

Yes, I know I am wasting a diary on this. I know online polls are not accurate. But Newsmax is a notorious part of the right wing echo chamber. We need to counter this echo by letting our voices be heard. Take this poll and let Newsmax know we are sick of the lies and spin. UPdated: Use this as an e-mail address fuckoffwingnut@loser.com

So how do the Freepi feel about the VA-Gov race?

Sun Nov 06, 2005 at 05:43:37 PM PDT

Yes, we have another episode of Daily Kos where a Kossack goes bravely into Free Republic territory to find out how the radical right really feels. The Freepi take on the Virginia Governor's race. It ain't pretty, there's a lot of whining, blaming the liberal media and general cluelessness.

Conservative Columnist Slanders World War II and Viet Nam Vets

Sat Oct 22, 2005 at 06:50:28 PM PDT

Cross-posted on Ignorant Hussy.
Ralph Peters has a real identity crisis. He can't decide whether he is Ann Coulter or William F. Buckley. He writes brillant scholarly articles for the Royal Australian Air Force, and Washington Monthly. He has appeared on PBS's Frontline. All those times as a thoughtful, intellectual commentator.

But something happened to Ralph Peters.

RNC mobilizes against Kaine, where are the Kossacks?

Sat Sep 24, 2005 at 07:37:39 PM PDT

I believe this election is just as important as Paul Hackett's Ohio run for Congress. We need to be motivated. The GOP will not rest until the Democrats cease to exist.

Tim Kaine needs to go on the offensive.

Sun Sep 11, 2005 at 05:39:58 AM PDT

Cross posted at my blog Ignorant Hussy The Washington Post recently released a poll saying that Jerry Kilgore is leading Tim Kaine by 7% in voters likely to vote this year. This is not good.

George Allen is scared!

Sat Jul 23, 2005 at 11:44:28 AM PDT

I got a letter from George Allen asking for money for his re-election campaign today. He didn't waste time asking for it either, the request for money was in the third paragraph. He must think a very popular and rich democrat is going to run against him....
