Mon Mar 24, 2008 at 03:49:25 PM PDT

It seems there is more to the DWS story than her reluctance to campaign against her friends. It looks more like she doesn't want to campaign against her financial interests.

Sat Mar 15, 2008 at 06:04:41 PM PDT

Little Bush has made the military his captive backdrop for countless photo-ops and ridiculous speeches but hasn't given us anything in return but endless war, broken units and broken families.

Call Schumer and Feinstein and demand they vote no on Mukasey...

Sat Nov 03, 2007 at 10:09:34 AM PDT

What good is a Democratic majority when fair weather friends like these two constantly undermine it.

Mukasey is just another stooge for the administration.

He will support a unitary executive.
He will condone torture.
He will not prosecute anyone held in contempt by Congress.
He will not investigate graft and corruption within the administration.

Enough is enough and the "best" the administration will give us is not good enough.

Call Schumer and Feinstein and demand a NO vote!

A Poll: Should Dems make Vets issues a centerpiece of the 2006 campaigns......

Tue May 10, 2005 at 07:06:55 PM PDT

Republicans, including President Bush, have been consistently weak in supporting veterans despite their hawkish rhetoric.

Many congressmen and women believe this can be a wedge issue to capture swing voters and a chunk of the coveted military vote, which has been consistently republican.

What do you think?

Bush's Fake Allegiance to Veterans................

Tue May 10, 2005 at 06:19:14 PM PDT

Good ole W constantly uses military imagery to his advantage on the stump. Recall his flight suited stroll across the flight deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln and his regular wearing of leather and nomex flight jackets when he flies Marine One or stumps on military bases. He consistently gives policy speaches on military bases where he surrounds himself by uniformed personnel. He shamelessly uses men and women in uniform at even the highest level addresses, recall the State of the Union with strategically seated veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.

But the truth is that GWB's allegiance to men and women in uniform is a sham...............
