If the DCCC really is supposed to elect as many Democrats as possible, they should support the basic grassroots efforts that really work to get people elected to office.

Energy is one of the most important issues facing the United States today, which is the reason it has been and will continue to be a cornerstone of Joe Robert's campaign.  Reliable energy is vital to the economy, which makes it vital to our security.  Yet over the past twenty-five years Republicans have kept us firmly in a fossil fuel economy that places us in the hands of countries that fund terrorists.  Rather than develop technologies that would create living wage jobs and support farmers here in the US, Republicans have fought against and even dismantled programs that would have meant a more secure and independent country.

Florida counts. It counts because votes there have been miscounted and discounted but not recounted. We have challengers in the field now where no challengers have previously dared to go. And they are building the Democratic Party in many districts from the ground up. If we are to prevent a repeat of the 2000 debacle, we need Dems in every position in the counties and districts of Florida. We have a great opportunity now with the 8 Fighting Dems running in 7 districts (to vets oppose each other in one district) in a state with more than its portion of vets and active duty personnel.  

Yesterday the citizens of CT took one step toward making this happen.
